And you'll discover that e-learning's really not as tough as it looks.

I received this book last week, and read it in less than twenty minutes. It's quite a quick read, and very self-helpful. I'm not sure if I would spend $9.99 on it, though.

Liz Hardy is a teacher that is well accomplished  so she knows what she's writing about. As for the puppies that show up randomly every other page or two, it's quite funny, and does have a relax feel for adult that are unsure of e-learning.

The information in the book wasn't beyond anything I didn't know. Though, I am not an adult, or nervous/scared of e-learning I am fascinated by this new way of learning. I myself am learning Italian through the BBC language learning website. I'm on my fifth week of the Italian Steps program, and am very glad I started the program. It's completely free, and I'm getting off topic. What I'm trying to say, is that the book is helpful if you're a busy parent, or work constantly.

The novel explains some tricks that you wouldn't have known otherwise. I may have found my way of not procrastinating through this book. I probably will keep procrastinating, but in a better way, if that makes sense.

I don't have much to say about the book, but if you fit in the category of a anxious/scared adult, that works, and wants to go back to school, online, then I think this is a great way for you to be exposed to the online learning world. That's why I give the book a heads nod, and thumbs up. (4 out of 5)

Scrivener Review

Since I planned on doing Nanowrimo, I've been looking for word processor alternatives than Word. Sadly, on this laptop I'm using I don't have Word, and I don't really need it, when I have downloaded Scrivener.

Scrivener is a word processor that is used by many published authors, and writers of all kinds. I have a video I want to show you, that will be more informative than I'll be on it.

I've found that Scrivener has made me so much more organized in writing. I've also got a lot farther in my novel, and I the overall layout is very easy, and like I said organized. I used to be one of those people that would have several word documents for character development, outline, and chapters. It was all too much, and Scrivener really makes it easy for a writer to just open a document and don't have to switch between documents.

A feature I love about Scrivener is its note cards on a cork board. It's very easy to plan my story out, and see what I have to write about, and where I am through the entire project. I usually don't plan out my stories too far ahead, but sometimes while I'm writing I get ideas for a chapter or scene, and then I add it to the cork board. It's easy to rearrange them and make them fit my best.

The compile piece of the application is truly helpful for authors when they want to send different versions of their novel. There's so many to choose from; PDF, Word Doc, ePub, Mobi, and a lot more I can't remember, I haven't finished my novel yet, so I haven't tried it, but I can just imagine now how accomplishing I'd feel when I can read it on my nook, or send PDF files to people.

Lastly, if you are doing Nanowrimo, you get a free trial through December 7th. I know it's amazing, but it get's better. If you finish your novel, you get a 50% off discount of the $40 you need to pay after December 7th. I personally am going to buy it afterwards, because I know I want to edit my story using Scrivener, and I have great ideas I want to write about, using Scrivener.

Nanowrimo Update (#1)

Hi guys,

This month I am doing Nanowrimo(National Novel Writing Month) and it began on Thursday. I have to write a 50,000 word story by November 30, and so far I'm ahead of the game. I started writing on Thursday, and wrote one word over the daily amount to reach 50,000 words=1,667. Then, yesterday as I got home from school there was a bit of a writing block, and the plot just didn't feel right. But then, after I had dinner, my story really wrote itself. I wrote almost 2,000 words yesterday, so I'm supercilious of that. I think I write the best, right after I had dinner. I'm not sure if lunch or breakfast is the same, because I do go to school. Though, now I know my perfect time to write, I think that hour after dinner will now be my writing time. If I change habits or anything I'll let you guys know next week.

If you want to check out my daily progress the link to my nanowrimo page is here, and if you want to root me on, @Clarareads.

What Do You Want to be When You Grow Up?

There's something every adult, friend, acquaintance asks,"What do you want to be when you grow up?" A lot of them say afterwards that you can be anything you want, that you are young and can change your decision any time you want. Is that really true? because for me, a public school student, in the United States of America, I feel pressured to know what I want to be, now. I'm only thirteen, and I have to choose paths that I want to take for high school, and continue on to college/university.

I don't want to be one thing when I grow up. I'm well assured in myself that I can never stick to one thing. My hobbies and interest are too wide, for me to stick to one thing. As an example, one day I want to sing at Madison Square Garden, when I very well  know I'm neither a good singer, or musician. I am fond of music, and I sing my soul in every broken note, and off key word. Then there are some days when I want to be that writer in a coffee shop and wearing sweats all day. I want to be that lady that has works published, and her imaginary friends got her there. I also want to be a teacher that teaches English abroad one day, in France, or Spain, or in whatever country. Likewise, I want to own my own small business in town, and see the same people I see every weekend. I'd bake cakes, or sell books in my little nook and cranny. A lot of times, I want to be a computer engineer, or website designer. I want to make pictures, and things that will feel good to the human eye. Those are my most often wanted dreams that I want to become real. That's what I want to be when I grow up.

Then why can't I be those things? I'm stuck in this society that expects me to have the same job every weekday for who knows how long. I'm stuck in a society that makes me choose paths, and they still ask me questions like what I want to be when I grow up, when they very well know I can't be anything more than what I've chosen at this moment. I'm stuck in a place where I want to be successful, but I can't because I'd have to start from the beginning, from where people that wanted to be _______, since they were five. I'm stuck, and I'm only 13.

Since the invention of the internet, there's been a whole bunch of job creation on here. I see that the internet is going to become the future of jobs soon. I just hope that it will also allow me what society can't at this moment. I hope I'm aloud to turn on my computer one day and have my guitar or piano out and sing a concert to people live through the internet, and have them commenting back live. I hope that I can teach students through the internet, and grade papers, and help them become their fullest. I know I can write a novel and be published. I know that I can become a website designer. I know that I can be that seller only in my neighborhood, and its through the internet.

I know all the things I want to be. I just don't know how exactly I'll make all of those dreams be reality. If you're with me on this, please leave me a comment. I love receiving comments from you guys, and go ahead and have a battle in the comments below. I have to add this at the end, or else I'm afraid of being pounded with hate, and that's something I wish I didn't have to do, but everything I wrote are my thoughts, and opinions, my views, and mine. Thanks for reading, if you got this far.

Favorite Songs at the Moment.

1. Holy Ground by Taylor Swift
You got to love her, and this song makes me want to rule the world.

2. New York Or Here by Jeff Pianki
A sweet love song, and it makes me think of autumn.

3. School Uniforms by The Wombats
I literaly head bang when I hear this song. <3 nbsp="nbsp" p="p">
4. Summer of '09 by The Caulden Road [feat. Meghan Tonjes]
I recently discovered these two youtube musicians/band. Meghan Tonjes is just inspirational, and The Caulden Road are sick.

5.  Die Young by Ke$sha
Even though I didn't oringially like this song, Cara Salimando's cover really changed my mind.

6. Rolling by Better Than Ezra
One of my favorite trios and this song is perfect.

7. Son Of A Gun by Motion City Soundtrack
Seems like an old song now, but it was a favorite I found again from the beginning of the year.

8. Lie To Me by Sara Bareilles
Sara Bareilles on multiple vocal tracks sounds is the best choir ever. Also she's an amazing song writer.

9. Patron Saint by Regina Spektor
I love her piano playing, and she makes the best out of a voice and piano, and a beat.

10. Sail by AWOLNATION
This song is quite a few years old, but it will never make me move to the beat. No matter how many times I play it, and the remixes.

Don't Quote Me (#13)

Creepy how Don't Quote Me is on number 13 on Halloween. (that was not planned) I think I'm going to add my comments to each quote like I used to, again.

It's scary, but so true.

I've met a fool recently, and I don't he's ever heard silence until now.

I can't exactly follow this, even though I want to. My interests are just too broad, and change hourly.

In the end, I'll read my story, and I want to be proud of it.
