Don't Quote Me (#34)

This is True...

I saw this image recently and felt the need to share it with you guys because I know many people in real life that are stuck in the same place in life, and don't do anything to change it-especially when it comes to the people they surround themselves with. Your friends are the family you choose, so you have to choose wisely and it's okay to change them as you change too. Think of your life as a house, and every couples months or years new people come in and out and live with you for awhile. They all teach you something, and are apart of you no matter what. So it's really important be reassess your relationships with your friends and making sure that they are complimenting your life, not causing trouble in it. I heard somewhere that the five people you surround yourself around the most, you inherently mimic them. So you want to mimic amazing people that embrace and help you through your life, as you want to help them.

I think this is extremely important for teenagers like myself to realize that the people you like last month, aren't always the people for you, and that's okay. You don't have to be negative and go out of the way to totally ignore them, but always allow new people in your life.

Don't Quote Me (#33)

Step out of your comfort zone! Advocare can help with health & income! Ask me how. www.Advocare.com/130933110

I really like the meaning behind this quote, because I personally have been the victim of not waning to change, but at the same time wanting my laugh to change. Really ironic I know. It's all because of this idea that I feel like I get stuck into a lot, that things will just happen to me and I won't have to worry or try as much, because things always turn out ok in the end. Here's a little story to for y'all. 2013 was probably one of my worst years to date. It was just all around intense angst, confusion, and depression in my life. I had no idea what was going to happen to me, and I didn't really know how to change anything around me either. Then in 2014 I set off a goal to do one new thing a month. People usually say to do one thing that you're afraid of a day, but that opportunity doesn't bring itself often enough for me or anyone I personally know to do that. If someone does do that, dang are they probably the god of humans because imagine all the mistakes and risks you've taken by the end of the year. You're nearly perfect if you do so. Anyways, I accomplished my goal in 2014, and then 2015 I tried to do it again, but I've been failing quite miserably, and this quote really reminded me to go out and make myself uncomfortable more. It's really tough sometimes, but I believe because I've seen it with my own eyes that you can change you're life, and create amazing opportunities for yourself by just trying one step at a time. I stand by that in my life, and I hope you try it in yours too.

Don't Quote Me (#31)

My new Don't Quote Me series is going to be one main one, and I'm going to add a story or more information why I add the quotes I choose to share with you guys.

This week I chose:

I've heard this quote a few years ago from someone else I can't remember. It maybe in a book I was reading tbh I can't remember. Though what really stuck with me was that people really admire those who treat others like they're amazing. They build them up, even though the person building them up has hundred of more accomplishments or more successful than they are. It's when you make other people feel smart, even though they always tell you you are always smart and compare themselves to you. I have gotten that a lot in school, and it really annoys me. I hate it when people say, "Well if you can't do it, I definitely can't." I didn't realize I had more power than any of my peers. When did this power happen? Have I been blessed by the gods? Have I been carrying this paranormal ability that only other people see? It's all really strange when people under mind themselves, because something I can't do. I want them to succeed. I don't want anyone to think that there are only these few top students in the class that can achieve the unbelievable because it's just stupid. If you work your but off you can do anything. I have seen it with my own eyes. It takes a hell of a lot of discipline, but the end product is worth it. So I guess this week, I want to share with you that I'm working to make people feel like they can do anything, in this sense. Make the people I'm around on a daily basis understand that they are worth it, and that they can do what they want to achieve.

Don't Quote Me: The End

I am going to stop posting don't quote me posts every week now, because I feel like it did not contain enough good content that I want to display on this blog. I felt like it was too easy and was a waste of time for the blog and myself. I hope to replace it with something else in the near future, but the meme Don't Quote Me will not continue on this blog. I'm sorry, and I hope you understand.

Don't Quote Me (#20)

I made the first three quotes last Friday night when I was bored. I wished I could reword this one a bit.

Who's addicted?

I was feeling extremely down last Wednesday, and could not believe how black and white my future was, so I decided to do something about it. This is just a picture I made to go with the feelings of last Wednesday.
