Embarrassing Book Covers

One reason why I bought an ereader was because I hated book covers of some of the books I wanted to read. That sounds shallow, I know, but people judge a book by its cover, and sometimes the cover has nothing to do with the book. So I have a list of book covers in which I am embarrassed about reading in public.

Sometimes I wished that it was the old days where books didn't have a cover. When the book was bound in a cloth, and then the first page was the title page. There are many more books that have very embarassing book covers, and if you know any leave a comment below. 

The Mortal Instruments Series

Hi guys I wanted to take a survey today, because I've been having trouble choosing to start reading the Mortal Instruments series or not. I know the movie is coming out soon, and I want to read the novel first, before watching it if I do. I have the Infernal Devices series, which is the prequel to the Mortal Instruments series. I've read the first two books, and my thoughts initially on them were that they were pretty awesome, but now that I think about it, it seems like a very paranormal soap opera. Care to yell at me if you want. Yeah... anyways I know there are die-hard fans of the series, and I know there maybe some neutral people out there, so help please? Thanks.
