t's strange this one. Common Criminals was something that I wasn't especially excited for when I read the summary. Mostly because of the Cleopatra be involved in it. I have a strange urge to think dry sand dunes when every I hear here or Egypt and that is a very broad generalization that I should get out of my mind(I know that). It was unexpected how it went. Of course there was a lot of traveling of sorts, but I could catch up with the fast paceness of it all.

I'm on the fence if I love the second one better than the first, but I really loved the beginning of this one *eye winks* if you know what I mean. It's still a cute summer read that is wonderful for a day on the beach tanning, or if you want to get in the habit of reading in the summer, but don't have the time. It's very easy to start this book and pick it up again without having to remind yourself.

Writing to Wednesday: Birthday

So it was my birthday recently and it wasn't anything different. Besides the fact that it was also the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and that my pregnant fish gave birth around the same time I was born it was quite mundane. I wouldn't say that growing is mundane though because if you really notice how we change over a few weeks to years it's quite drastic how the world changes us.

You may be asking what I got for my birthday and well I got a new ipod touch charger because the old one was breaking. If you guys didn't know I check on the blog every morning before I go to school on that thing and try to answer all of your questions or just feedback. I also got a book. What book? Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I recently saw a review on it on Youtube (bookswithcourt) and it was really drew me in. The only thing I didn't like about getting the book was that Barnes and Nobel needs to stop reorganizing their shelves so often. It gets on my nerves at time when the young adult section is on one side, but all the new young adult novels that recently came out is on the other. It took me forever to find it and I personally don't really like their kiosk for finding books. The keyboard didn't work!

Writing to Wednesday: Ignorance

I think that we should have a talk about Ignorance. This is probably not what you want to read about in the middle of your week, but I needed to make a Writing to Wednesday on Ignorance. 

This past month, I've realized maybe that it's spring fever, but people are getting irritable to hang around with. Some people are just like that everyday, and I personally never hang around them. Though, there are some people that are amazing friends that you could one hundred percent trust, and then the next you feel like forgetting about them because they have just ruined your whole day. 

Google defines ignorance as: Lack of knowledge or information: "he acted in ignorance of basic procedures". This can be counted for everyone in the world because we all know that everyone doesn't know everything. This is religion aside btw. 

People can be very mean when they are ignorant. For example, the other day someone I knew would not let me help them because I was wrong the first time. Now, I did say that it was my fault and I am sorry, but when that person asked specifically for anyone but me, it hurts. You don't want to be around that person, and now that person is on my stay away list. 

Review: Heist Society by Ally Carter

Heist Society was called the teenage version of Oceans 11, and I think that is a great way to sum it up. A group of teens stealing priceless items from big head buildings. This was my first Ally Carter novel and I've heard of her before because I think we all have seen her Gallagher Academy series because honestly it's everywhere. I felt like this was more of a summer read, than anything, but it was wonderful none the less.

Kat. I feel like there are a lot of new books coming out that have a variation of the Hunger Games protagonist, Katniss Everdeen. Am I right? Well, anyways they both have their similarities. For example, they both have the same distinct way of get in and then get out. Strangely both of them have a habit of not wanting to be open with people and think through things in technical ways.

Series Page: Heist Society by Ally Carter

This is a first of many series that I've decided to start this summer. I will have at least two weeks in every month a "series week". A series week is when that whole week is only about that series. That week may lead up to the up coming book or maybe a movie release. This is a series page where you will have on page dedicated to the whole series including: reviews, playlist, and etc. This page will update as soon as something new is posted. I hope this will be easier for you if you like series.

Believe by E. Leighanne Grimm-Weever Review

I was very grateful for the fact that the author of this novel gave away free e-book versions of her debut novel on goodreads. This was a first for me and I still hope to receive more of these in the future, though this review is brutal. I first want to start out with saying that writing anything is hard, especially a novel. I give her applause for trying, but in my opinion Believe was the worst novel I've ever read before. It went totally off the charts and not in a good way.

Let's start with the writing. It was difficult to continue to read it because it was so very hard. It felt like a fourth grader wrote it and I'm know way dissing the author. I'm just giving my honest opinion. I have read other reviews on goodreads and was surprised that most people on there loved it. Maybe I was sent a wrong copy? The first draft? I don't know, but the writing was too basic. I don't want to say this, but I could write better than her. I have written way better short stories and am currently working on a long-term project. This novel was... not ideal for me.

There were vampires. Well from the synopsis, but when I started reading it it felt like a very horribly written twilight fanfiction with just different characters. I took some notes while I was reading and found that there were so many similarities with Twilight I'd like to share them with you.

I don't mean to sound rude because this is the worst review I have ever given, but from just those quotes I got from the novel it's plain to see that their wasn't much literature used. I found myself yelling at the author in my head for revising and understanding the use of grammar so many times that I just put the book down. It wasn't a good feeling, but I had to. 

I do give anyone props for trying to write a novel and completing it must have been fulfilling, but because this novel has three or four more sequels and I can't go through another grammar mistake I will not be reading this series. I give Believe by E. Leighanne Grimm-Weever a head shakes vigorously, thumb pointing down, mad face for the waste of my time, and disappointed eyes. (1 out of 5)
